William F. Murphy

Bill has extensive experience providing consulting and financial planning services to corporations and professional practices in Indiana. He assists the firm by providing valuation and financial analysis services focused in the areas of business transactions and valuations, matrimonial law, wealth preservation, and estate planning matters.

Bill is a Certified Public Accountant with credentials from the American Institute of CPAs, including Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Bill is active in the American Institute of CPAs and serves on several of its technical committees. He is also active with the Indiana CPA Society and is a member and former Chair of its Ethics Committee. In addition to his accounting activities, Bill also holds an Indiana Insurance License.

Bill has appeared as an expert witness in numerous cases involving marital and business disputes. He lectures extensively on valuation and tax issues for the National Business Institute, Western CPE, Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, Indiana CPA Society, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Bill is also a contributing writer to many national and local media outlets on tax and valuation topics.
